A trip can be planned anytime anywhere and in any situation. All it needs to plan a trip is the zeal for travel. But apart from the passion and love of traveling, some safety norms or precautions must also be followed while planning a trip.

·       Try to collect information about the place and the hotels where you will be staying. It is good to have a knowledge about your destination it helps to relate the place properly.

·       Always carry some extra cash to help you if you are a shopaholic or foodoholic like me.

·       Always check your bag to reconfirm whether the tickets, phone, and important stuff are inside it or not before leaving a hotel.

·       Carry  some emergency numbers like police station of that region and travel agencies.

·       Study the basics about travel scams –It is really important because no matter where we go we will always find people to trick us.

·       Handle your valuables with a little more care - traveling with valuable things like camera, laptops, and phones is a usual thing. But we just cannot afford to have them stolen. Always be careful about your valuables.

·       Try to keep the photocopies of all your documents – with you when you are traveling abroad.

·       Avoid talking to strangers – yes it sounds a bit weird because talking to the people of the place you are visiting is the best way to explore the place and that's the best part of traveling. Making new friends on the journey is really exciting but do not trust them blindly. Avoid talking to the strangers who don't look trustworthy.

·       Get a travel insurance – It is a really important part of traveling abroad. Get yourself and all your gears insured for the sake of your own safety. Everyone should carry a insurance of health and property while traveling.

·       Learn the basics of self defense – You do not need to be a pro in martial arts to protect yourself. Just learn some basic techniques from self-defense classes to protect yourself on the streets.
