Kashmir is always on the top of the bucket list for all Indians. The Kashmir valley will soothe your eyes with its scenic beauty. Kashmir is truly crafted with all the majestic touch by god. We visited Kashmir in the month of may. Pahelgaon which is a small beautiful village in Kashmir. It has all the wonderstruck landscapes to offer. Pahelgaon is situated 96kms away from Shrinagar . Pahalgam has four different areas to look around and explore – a very beautiful meadow around the village called Baisaran and three gorgeous scenic valleys –Betaab, Chandanwadi, and Aru Valley. Betaab Valley which  is situated 15kms from Pahelgaon in Anantnag district. It was known as Hagan Valley  or Hagoon earlier. It was renamed after Bollywood movie ‘Betaab’ was shot in 1983 starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh. Betaab valley lies between the two Himalayan ranges – Pir Panjal and Zanskar. This place is encircled by snow-covered mountains green meadows and deodars and pine forests. Betaab valley falls in between the en-route  of Chandanwadi and Pahengaon. It is the one of the major tourist attraction spot in Pahelgaon. It is a perfect gateway to enjoy the serene view of the mountains and it is also a favorite campsite for travellers. It is a kind of perk for the locals. You will notice the local folks  having  picnic around the crystal water and snow cladded mountains .

 The crystal clear and chilly water of the stream coming down from the snowy hills is a joy. Locals here drink this water too. Even i also got inspired by them and drink that too. It tasted fantastic, you definitely should try some. Baisaran and Tuilan lake are the few nearby attractions that can also be visited. We spent almost 2 -3 hours at this valley but one could spend one day at this place for that you have to book a camp or else you can stay at Pahalgam then take a cab and go to B

The experience will even get better by the musical whispers of several bird. This is one of those places which you just cannot skip while you are touring in Pahalgam for its extraordinary eternal beauty. The best time to visit Betaab valley is in between the month of October and April. The manifest charm of the valley will definitely fascinate you. So if you haven’t visited this place yet,please visit as soon as possible if you do not want to regret.
